Query is locked after illegal shutdown - how to unlock?

Question: Hi Guys:

My computer is shutting down illegally couple of times a day (I think some hardware issues on my side or may be virus?).

Now the query I was working on changing in DEV is locked and I am not able to get back into it in Query Deisgner for more changes. I get error message "Query is Locked by user matt".

I know that I could just save the query under a new technical name but then I would have a new version/name for production. Plus the issue that the structure is also locked in the original query.

So how do I unlock this query and underlying structure(s)? I tried sm12 and rs12 but do not know the table name and lock arguments?

Thanks for your help with this one,

Matt

Answer:
Please login again in the BW system and then go to the T/code RRMX and you should be in a position to change the query.

When you login the system will ask whether you want to logout the earlier login and please tell the logout from the system.

Hope this helps you.

Answer:
You can also use the transaction SM12 to delete the locks against your user name. It will unlock the query previously locked by you.
I hope this helps,
