Question:
Hi,
I am new to BW so here somekind of newbee question:
For one exiting InfoObject I changed some attributes from dis to nav type.
However, somehow in the queries for a cube (that contains the infoobject) the attributes are still display attributes not displayed as cube characteristics.
What I am doing wrong? What is the reasons that the attributes don't show up as "normal attributes" as expected?
Thanks in advance,
Garp
Answer:
Hi,
I assume that you are searching the attribute not anywhere in the Query but under the characteristic that is an attribute to.
For example if you change the attribute 0mat1 (which originally is attributed to characteristic 0material) to navigational attribute, then in the query you will find 0mat1 under 0material.
Answer:
Well, my cube is pretty simple:
Material Dimension: Material (which has matgroup as nav attribute).
Time Dimension: 0CALMONTH
2 key figures.
In Query designer matgroup is not appearing anywhere under dimensions except as display attribute of Material.
I simply don't see it...
Answer:
In such a case why don't you add the dimension 0matgroup in you cube and have the standard characteristic instead of mark it as a navigational attribute of material?
Answer:
Did you also flag the nav attribute in the cube ?
Maybe this is the problem
