In production, we have 2LIS_11_VAITM established for delta processing to an ODS. The ODS is also fed from 2LIS_11_V_SSL. We now need to establish a second, third and fourth ODS that will be fed from 2LIS_11_VAITM. What are the effects on the original ODS going to be when the second, third and fourth ODSs need to be established with an INIT and deltas What must we plan for in regards to possible downtime for the original process, etc. Please share your experiences and expertise.

in my opinion, the best way is to proceed as follows:
1. do a full load of ALL data into your new ODS(s)
2. mark that load as a "full repair request" (using report RSSM_SET_REPAIR_FULL_FLAG => check OSS for more info)
3. then do an init without data transfer
as from that point you just schedule delta's and everything will be fine

Answer:
Just to clarify, when I went to execute the step to do an init without data, i had to delete the request that was already running from the old ODS back in July. Once that was deleted, I could run an init without data and then i activated the data (1 record). Then I processed deltas into the old and new ODS successfully.
I think we are in good shape and do not have to reload the old ODS data
