Can anybody explain the 3 different Function Modules used in transaction Event type Linkage (SWE2) ?
Here we link our WF to the BO event. We can specify the Receiver, Check and Receiver Type FM. whats the usage of all 3?
Usually we specify SWW_WI_CREATE_VIA_EVENT or SWE_EVENT_CREATE as Receiver Function Module.
Can I specify a Z* FM as Receiver FM and then call SWE_EVENT_CREATE within that to trigger a WF?
Kindly explain the above.

Hi,
Yes you can specify a z* function module.
For the first question you can press the magic button when your cursor is on the different fields in TR sswetypv, or check the bc610 course (or was it bc601 with explanation of events)
