Hello all,
I am planning on filling my setup tables for PM Notifications in our production system. We are a 24/7 shop, 365 days a year and I have no "quiet times" in R/3. I would like to do a test fill on my setup tables to see how long this is going to take so I can see if a planned down time is feasible. While I fill my setup tables, does it lock any users from creating/modifying notifications? I tried searching for this answer but I never got a definite yes/no.

Hi,
If you are doing setup tables and users enter transactions , i hope you have a way of capturing those transactions later in some other way. I dont believe u can go without a quiet time.

Thanks for your reply. Yes I am aware of that fact, I am just wanting to do a test load for now to see how long it will take so I can plan an outage in the future so that we will not miss any when we do the real thing.

do the setup without blocking the the documents (unflag the checkbox). notification setup should go fast (3 minutes on our system)
