Question:
I want to edit a cube that is delivered as business content or copy it as template. (including all update rules) and then activate. Many of the info-objects contained in the cube are compounded with another custom info-object thats not in the cube and hence the requirement.

I suppose I don't quite understand your question, but add the compound attributes to the cube...
