'scaling factor' as variable

Question: Hi All,

I have a doubt, I need to put a variable like scaling factor and when the user enters 100,1000 or 100000 etc the report should dispaly the keyfigure values according to the scaling factor the end user has entered. Can anyone help me out with a sloution?

Answer:
one option would be do create a formula variable and use that as the scaling factor to divide your key figures.
