Question:
I know that it is possible to send a notification to an externail email address about a workitem. Is the same possible for a Missed deadline notification? Whenever a manager A misses a deadline, a notification is sent to a different manager B. I want to know if the manager B can be notified via email about the missed deadline.
Another query that I have is how to alter the text and the priority of the deadline message. Right now i m using SAP standard template and the priority of the workflow items is set to 1 so that the user gets a popup each time he receives a workitem. I want a popup to appear for the missed deadline notification also. Is this possible and if yes please share with me as to how to configure this.

Hi,
The answers are Yes and Yes:
a. You can send notification or missed deadline to anyone you wish.
b. You can set different Text as well as priority for missed deadline.
How:
a. In the missed deadline tab, for example 'latest start' in the "Possible actions Upon Missed Deadline" use the "Display text" option: Specify the recipient of the message.
b. In the task text type choose other value than "task desctiption", for example "Latest Start Text" and specify the required text.
As for the priority, you should set the priority via code - little bit more complicated.
