Hello,
I have created a workflow to send emails based of 'Send mail' using the SELFITEM.SENDTASKDESCRIPTION.
There are no agent assignments needed since the mails need to be sent only to an external e-mail.
This is not working . The event trace shows the status as 'Ready' , can someone guide me on what this means.
The setting of the e-mail id are in SU01.
If I attach an agent to the Task the W/F comes to the users workplace and once the user opens the W/F item in the inbox an e-mail is sent out to the external e-mail id.

check ur task binding, one of parameter (for method sendtaskdescription) is required U/P? for external mail.
I am missing it but if u search this forum u will get the exact value and parameter

Hello,
I am assuming you are referring to the &TYPEID& as 'U'. This is set in the W/F yet not being sent directly to External mail.
