Hi All
Does anyone know if it is possible to create a global calculated key figure which incorporates a global restricted key figure? I need to create a global key figure which
1 resticts deb/ cred amount by a doc type and then
2 multiplies this value by -1
3 and then use this value in a series of banding calculations
any ideas? or do we have to look at exploring doing this as part of the update rules?

In 2.1C, global Calculated Key Figures can not reference global Restricted Key Figures.
A workaround I've used:
Build your calculated key figure in a query definition, using the two restricted key figures. Hide the two restricted key figures (in the key figure Properties), and then save the whole set of restricted key figures and the calculated key figure as a Structure. The structure is then available for selection when building new queries.
If you need to add more columns/rows to this structure when building a new query, 'Remove Reference' on the structure after it's inserted in the new query, and proceed.

Structure is a good workaround I have used in the past but if you are using BW 3.0, it should be possible to do it directly.
