Question:
We have an issue with extracting data from APO –
MALO extraction - 9A_Z1PA035_MALO
This issue first occurred yesterday and then happened again this morning.
Target System: BW Prod
Source System: APO Prod
When looking in RSMO:
There were a number of failed packages related to this load
Looking on the Details tab
4 failed with the following message under Extraction :
‘Missing message: selection complete’
3 failed with errors in Extraction/ Transfer and processing :
Extraction error message - ‘Missing data packet’ – Data Packet 5 was missing
According to the status tab the job was still running
‘Processing is overdue’
‘No errors could be found. The current process has probably not finished yet.’
Looking in the Source System, The jobs were apparently still running in SM37
Transaction SM58 we had the following:
Function Module: RSAP_TRFC_DATA_RECEIVED
Target system: BW Prod
Status text: Transaction executing
Any suggestions on the cause of this?

We do extract data from APO Systems. Earlier we had the similar problem and we have fixed it. To fix this, in monitor, make status as NOT_OK then cancell the job in BW and delete the failure request as well.
Then Re-schedule the package till PSA, once it completes then update from PSA to data target manually.
But generally APO data takes more time to get it populate in BW and thatz normal. Sometimes it takes more than 12 to 15 hours to populate around 9 million records. However it won't take much time to get it populate till PSA.
