Hi Sonia,
My pc runs Windows XP and I run BW on it with no problems. You may want to check the patch level of your SAP GUI. Mine is at patch level 49 on version 6.20. I have heard some people have had problems with query results on lower patch levels.

Do you want to install BW server on WinXP?I think it's not impossible.
If you want only install BW Frontend, you just need add this component of SAPGUI Frontend.

We have a BW installation on a laptop running win2k for demo purposes. It works fine. Don't know about XP though, but I suspect the others are right.
