I would be very glad and obliged if anyone can solve this problem of mine.
Actually till now i ve worked on workflows on the SAP R/3
Now i need to work on the workflow on the Enterprise Portal.
In this case i have no idea how to proceed.
Can anyone please tell me how to make a workflow that will work on EP.
For eg : If the workflow is for leave approval then the leave is created in the SAP R/3 environment using ESS but they want the approval to be done through EP.
Or any material on EP workflow development would be a great help.
Please do reply if any of you have any idea regarding this.

You can develop your workflow in R/3 as normal. But for the decision step use business object EXTSRV method PROCESS. You will also need to implement the UWL on the portal so the workitems can be executed from the user's portal inbox.

Actually what i know till now is that in EP6 SP2 UWL can be implemented only if KM is being managed.
But my client is not going to implement KM.
Can you please give any other work around.

Hi Saravanan,
UWL (Universal worklist) is a tool for portal. It is used to connect portal users with their account on R/3 so that they can access all their workitems from the portal itself.
