Question:
after we installed SAP GUI 640 and start a bex query via excel the format has changed completely compared to 620 gui!
is this a bug or a new design by sap resp. how can we use the old format again?
thanks a lot,
gunter
Answer:
Hi Guys,
We are in the process of upgrading the GUI to 640 from 620.
In 640, when we go to Bex Analyzer and go to the properties of a Key figure, for the HIDE , we have a Drop down now where we used to have a check box in GUI 620.
The new Drop down has three options Always show, Hide(Can be Shown) and Always Hide.
Now my problem is,
I have nearly 350 Queries in Production where I put a Check in this HIDE.
In 640 for all those Queries it tokk Always HIDE option by Default. But I want the option Hide(Can be Shown).
Is there a way that I can do this in a more efficient, time saving way rather than going to each and every Query and Select that Option?
Anyone faced this issue?
Please let me know.
Answer:
I faced this little disaster too about a year ago. Terrible to discover .
We ended up creating a little program that makes a hard-update on the table that contains this setting. Worked without a problem...
Send me a PM if you're interested in this, so i can send you the code.
Answer:
TFR Could you provide me the name of the table you are referring to.
thanks
