we load about 40 cubes and 30 ODS's everyday.. not very big ones though..except for a couple that are big.. and a couple intensive..
however, even if two reaonably big jobs run at same time ... loads
fail with storage_parameters_wrong_set and it says you have requested for memory over 483378000 bytes from the operating
system with 'malloc' when the operating system reported after a
further memory request that there was no more memory space
available.
what do u think about this memory allocation.. is that std.. generally, how much do most people have in heap memory that simultaneous processes can call.. can someone give some stats on total memory, heap memory, roll memory etc..
would really appreciate some feedback..
