I am using the 2LIS_13_VDITM extractor to load billing item data into BW. Some of the records are coming across with zero volume (FKIMG) even though I can see volume for them in VBRP. This is occurring for delivery related billing documents (billing category = L) for exchanges and tax deferrals. I could understand if it was for order related billing (billing category = A), as noted in an earlier post by El Belgio. However, it shouldn’t be happening for these documents.
I know that it is zeroing-out before it leaves R/3 because the volume is already zeroed-out in the Extract Checker (RSA3). Also, through debugging I have confirmed that it happens before reaching my custom coding in the user exit. Has anyone else encountered this problem or have any ideas as to why it is occurring? Additionally, has anyone found some documentation specific to this extractor? I would like to know more about what SAP is doing behind the scenes with the extractor.

Update: I opened an OSS note last week and SAP has acknowledge that there is a problem with the IS-OIL exchanges module.
SAP has suggested that we implement notes 642498 and 597566 in R/3. This may be better asked in a different forum, but I am wondering if anyone has applied these notes to their systems before. If I am reading it correctly it looks like they are in SP80 and SP72, respectively. I am just looking for a little bit of feedback before we put these into our systems. Has anyone encountered any problems? Thanks!
