We are on 3.0B, going to have users access web reporting, please advise what authorization should be granted for them, is there any SAP delivered template to be use as starting point ? Thank you.

there is no one role for web reporting.. if u activate the BEX service (for the web) then all users have access to web reporting..
i don;t really know of a way u can control who gets access to the web and who does not
but remember you have to create web templates for queries to be published on the web.. and assign them to roles.. if the query is not published in a template it will not appear on the web

You have to write port number if you don't have port 80 as HTTP port you cant see that in RZ10 parameters:
