Hi Gurus,
I have installed the SAP BW 2.1C before and now I started to install SAP BW 3.0B. Everything works fine until I acctually want to display some data in BEx from Sample Cube
I know everything is fine with metadata, but I found that when loading the data in rsa1 transactional data are not activated in fact. In SAP BW 2.1C I had to attach manually some CSV files, but there at least special datasource were prepare for that. In SAP BW 3.0B there is no such a datasource. I am pretty sure there is some easy way to attach sample transactional data, but I could not find any OSS note about that at SAP Marketplace
I hope some of you have had already this problem and can give me some tip.

these files should be available in directory dir/home .. check in transaction AL11..
but then if u are having trouble i suggest u just reactivate business content (demo content) with the option data flow before..
Remember to select the demo_pc as the source system before u start activating.. this should bring all the IP u need to load data

Hi,
I know where the files are and I have checked it using AL 11 before. Also when activating the data I have used data flow before and afterwards. My problem is the demo_pc data source does not exist. Probably this a reason why transaction data did not activate. The only data source which I have is my profile datasource. I do not have a clue how to initiate the demo_pc you mentioned . Can you give me any tips, please.

I am not sure how I have done but this finally works . That may be one of the things below:
1) restarting SAP BW server
2) separately activation of datasources and infosources (except infoproviders with before and after option).
3) something other maintenance activity
