Is this a CSV file? Are you able view the data correctly from the InfoPackage?
Verify the checkbox in the InfoPackage the currency conversions checked or not.
Depends on where the data is coming from can be eliminated there!

There is tcode SICF to eliminate the thousand as well as escape sequence sign with different setting , I dont remeber the node as this time I am far from BW system but you can find it easily with this Tcode .
