Question:
I have installed few infoobjects from business content with necessary objects grouping. In the log i see all green, everything successful. I checked for those objects in metadata repository & i found them available in active version. But when I searched for those objects under infoobjects in RSA1, I could not find those objects. what could be the problem??? I dont think I need to any setting to be able to see those objects in RSA1, do I?? please let me know if i am missing something.
Other thing we have installed some of the objects previously in BW2.2C and have made enhancements to some of them. We have recently upgraded to 3.3C now if i install these objects with 3.3C content with MATCH flag checked while installing will that wipe out any customization that we have made before or it will keep those enhancement and will add the extra attributes to these objects which were not available in 2.2C. Truly appreciate your help.

Answer:
In an upgrade you don't have to reinstall InfoObjects, the system itself takes care of them. We had made modifications to several standard InfoObjects, by adding nav. attributes etc. (non-standard objects added), and after an upgrade, these standard objects still retain the customized changes.
