Everything fine in the Query but.........

Question: Hi all,

I am using two source systems to load data into a single infocube (one R/3 another flat file). Scheduling of data load takes place perfectly from both the source systems. When I create the query the data flows in perfectly.

But when I open the infocube i.e. supposed to contain the data, only the flat file data is populated......the R/3 data is missing!!! Any reasons for this?

The update rules and Infosource for R/3 are from the Business Content. Currently on 2.0b.

Thanks.

Answer:
Have you checked the messages for your data requests (via manage data targets)? These message will tell you were it went wrong. Otherwise you should go and via the batch monitor...

Thanks Hilven,

Let me make the question more clearer. I can see the data from both the sources in the query. But when I try to display the same data in the Infocube the data for the two KFs (total of 4 KFs; 2 from flat file and 2 from R/3) coming from the R/3 source-system is not populated.

Satisfies my end-user, but why/where............???

Thanks,
Rahul.

If you can see the data in the query, that means it is in the InfoCube!
How do you check your data in the InfoCube? I guess you must be doing something wrong there... a query can't show data that isn't there.

Answer:
agree with the previous post from El.. make sure you are using the right transactions to diplay the cube contents..

another thought.. r u doing a compression (cube compression) go to environment in manage IC and click on automatic request processing
