work item

Question: Hi all,

Thanks in advance ,

I am triggering the workflow trhouh my own transaction, and work items are getting in the SAP inbox.
But iam executing the transaction in different client i am not getting the Workitem in the sap inbox. i checked the workflow is triggered by the transaction but i am not getting the workitem in the sap inbox.

Please help me out if any one knows the answer.

You may have to assign possible agents to the task in each client you test in. Perform a syntax check on your WF definition in the client you are having problems.

Hi,
Go to TR. SWI1
Fill in the workitem id.
In the logging check if and who are the possible agents.
Perhaps agent assignment is done through literals (like organizational unit O123, in another mandant it could have a different identification, because of number ranges)

Or for a quick scan goto TR. SWI2_ADM1 to see if workitems exist without agents.

Hi all,

Using SWI1 transaction i am able to see the work item in logfile with status Ready, but same thing is not appearing in SAP Work flow inbox(4.5B version) .
