Question:
In our business, we have different type of materials which have different unit of measurement like some are in LT, some are in KG, some in MT etc.
We have BW version 2.1C. When we see a report of billing or delivery information with total, the totals of qty which are different unit of measurement does not appear correct.
We want that total should be in unit of measurement wise like quantities which are in LT total should appear in LT of those quantites, quantities which are in KG total should appear in KG of those quantites or same for another unit also. That means we want grouping in totals unit of measurement wise.
How can we configured it on our BW? We are really stuck on the issue and seeking solution desperately.

Just add in the drilldown your characteristics containing the unit,
then the sum up will work fine

Hi,
Take the Unit Characteristic , specify it in the Row of the Query Designer
->Specify the Supress Result Rows as NEVER.
you can see the totals for the same units.if you dont want the unit charatceristic not to display then set the property to 'NO DISPLAY'.
