Question:
Hi,
I have a problem with process chain. I designed my PC to be started immediately manualy. When I activate and schedule the PC it gets started but doesn't do anything. I can see a background process (SM50) running the SAPLRSSM program for ever (it's been over 1 hour now) but that's about it - no infopackage gets started. The job log says that the job has been started. Can anyone help me ?!?!
Thanks,
Marek
Answer:
can you check in sm12 if there are any locks on ur username or blank out the username and release any locks
Answer:
It could be possible that your process chain could be fine, but there could be problems with your infopackages. My advice is go to each indivdual infopackage and make sure that they are not scheduled indivdually.
There could be a clash, and may be thats why your PC doesnt work.
Also one strange problem i noticed with process chains was, you cannot create a process chain with generated infopackages....you actually need to define them for them to work in a Process chain.
One final thing use transaction ST22 to check if there were any shortdumps.
hope this helps
