how could i find infopackage name using job?Urgent

Question: Hello BWGuru's
can any one have any idea in this area.
My question is How to find the Infopackage name using Job.I would like to to see the infopackages using the jobs in the R3.

Your answer will be appreciated.

Thanks

Answer:
Your question is not clear. A job is a batch job that starts an ABAP program, which uses the parameters and variants defined in the job. In case of data update, the params are DataSource name, InfoPackage name etc., and usually the user id is the variant.

You can usually see the InfoPackage name in the job log, as the job is running, or completed. You can get the R/3 job name by jumping to the OLTP from the step-by-step-Analysis button of the status tab of the monitor.

You also can get all the BW requested jobs in R/3 in SM37 of R/3, with user id of ALEREMOTE (if that's what you've specified, when you set up the source system from BW).

Can't help you any further, without a clearer understanding of your question.

Answer:
if i m not wrong buguest you are askign about those infopackage which runs for a standard module in BW & some progam runs in r/3 corrosponding to that module .

lets take a example of COPA . this not for standard cube . for complete range you can install business content & look into that .

in R/3 progam name for COPA :- /SIE/SSG_BW_COPA_TRANSFER

futher we create variants for different period & use those vairants we create a job of a fiscal year or for a period & for the copa either you can use standard infopackage or can also create your own infopackage based on ur controlling area , company code & so on.
