Hi,
On help.sap.com is a lot of info on workflows
If you select the 4.6c library there's even a tutorial somwhere. (BC-BMT-WFM, or something like that).
For 4.7 SAP has provided a lot of examples for different modules in the help somewhere. Can't rememeber wher exactly.
Further more in Wf development you can select templates. But to my experience they are never succesfully used in a real business situation.
