Question:
I have deleted a query from BEx and checked the tables RSRREPDIR and RSZCOMPDIR to confirm that no entry exists with the deleted COMPID. I have checked under InfoAreas in BEx Query Designer as well. Now I am trying to create a query with the same technical name and it throws an error saying "Query name XXX exists already". I need to use the same technical name in order to maintain consistency and I can't think of a way to get rid of this problem as I don't find any entry in the above mentioned tables. If anyone could share their thoughts on this topic, that would be great.

mayb a buffering problem? Log off from BEx, execute transaction $SYNC and try again...
