It's not that we are ignoring your question to make you mad. Using a return table is rare - I haven't created a design using one in 4 years BW work. I assume you have looked at the following help page for basic knowledge -

If you are working on an SAP system, I'm sure you can find someone with an OSS ID that can look up the white paper.

1) your question has been answered by giving you a tip where to find the doc
2) you don't have access, too bad -> ask your employer for his userid/pwd, each and every SAP customer has an ID ; I even know people not working currently in SAP having an ID just because they followed a training
3) you ask to send you the doc, so we may guess that you received your answer anyway
4) if you are so desesperate, I suggest you to search this forum on "return table", stating that you want to search on "all terms" and read the different topics
