Hi,
We created a Generic DataSource in SAP R/3 which is based on function module. The extractor is working fine in R/3 (RSA3 Transaction). In BW system, the DataSource is assigned to InfoSource and the InfoSource is assigned to SAP Remote Cube.
We created a query on this Remote Cube. The problem is query is not
bringing data though data is available in R/3 . Apreciate if some one passes the information why is query not bringing data.
The quer on remote cube based on standard extractor is working fine.
We are in BW release 3.1 support pack level 18.
Plug in R/3 is 2004_1_470 (Enterprise version)

Answer:
For getting the data in the remote cube.. the datasource has to be direct access datasource...
check for this in roosource table in the field "virtcube" (technical name of the field) . check whther it has 1 or 2 . if neither is there then u cannot pull the data...
otherwise there is some other issue.
