When I tried to load data from R/3 to ODS then to InfoCube (Delta update), I got an error saying "You do not have authorization for InfoSource 8ZFI_O001" (RSM 832).
I am on BW system verion 3.1 with support package 14.
While my ID has profile "SAP_ALL" and "SAP_NEW", I suppose there should not be any authorisation issue.
Nevertheless, I have found out an OSS notes (# 680706) talking about this, and I have followed the notes to set the MD InfoSource check indicator via transaction code RSCUSTV16.
Did I miss anything? How should I troubleshoot in this case?
Anybody experienced this before?
Answer:
The problem is not with your authorization, but with the BW background user (BWREMOTE normally). Try giving SAP_ALL and SAP_NEW authorizations to this id.

Checking the trail of your Error message ,i hit the same OSS note u mentioned,couldnt find much
Also the Version and SP leverl u r at present is much higher than mentioned in Notes
Also would like to know whether u followed below steps properly in sequence they occur with ur Basis guy-
After importing the Support-Package, assign the following authorization to the users concerned:
S_RS_ISRCM
RSAPPLNM = <Name of the allowed application components>
RSOSOURCE = <Name of the allowed InfoSourcen>
RSISRCOBJ = 'TRNSFRRULE'
ACTVT = '23'
The users involved must log off and log on again.
Now set the MD InfoSource check indicator in transaction RSCUSTV16. Save.
A check is now carried out on the S_RS_ISRCM authorization object.
