Want to create InfoSpoke, send file to another non-BW server.
Only choices on Destination tab are on this same BW server.
Can a file be sent to non-BW server? (any)
Answer:
Talk to your Basis/network people about mapping another server to BW. I have used this technique to bring a large flat file into BW via the application server option on the InfoPackage.
For the infoSpoke I know you will be able to write to the mapped server in dialog mode. In background mode I currently have one that only wants to write to it's home server. I saw something in SAP Service or possibly help that said you could change the default server folder, but haven't had time to follow it up. If you find out how to do it please post a reply.

You could use an FTP Script to pick up files from BW Server and dump in the third party server.
This Process can also be automated, with the Info spoke job to run as a second step.
