Question:
Is it anyhow possible to create a variable for hierarchy which could allow a user to write the hieararchy level there - not just pick from the hierarchy list. The user knows what is the level, like "2000/90999" and wants to write it when starting the query, not pick it from the list. This would save a lot of time for user.

Answer:
Hi,
1. Create a variable (input allowed) for a characterictic wich is a base for your hierarchy (type manuall entry).
2. Create a variable (input not allowed) for you hierarchy (type customer exit).
3. Pass the value from 1. to 2. in the customer exit.

Hi,
I'm working on the same problem, when I fill the hierarchy variable with a single value using user exit, that value is all I can see in the query. I want to see all subnodes of this value. Can you tell me how to achieve this?
Thanks,
Marek
