No Data Through BEX

Question: Have loaded all cube data first time, manually, infopackage by infopackage.

Tried a BEX query against cube, no data was returned.

What is process to verify all is OK?

Answer:
Hi,

Go to the monitor and check if data selection has been made and completed. You will see something like this(0 of 300)records. Wait for sometime and keep refreshing it and if the traffic light turns green then all is fine if it goes to red then there is some problem which u will have to check depending on the error message.

Take care.

Answer:
hi

Right click to cube and u will find manage and then go to content tab where you can display and able to see infocube contents so that you can ensure your self that data is in. Also in requests tab you can see number of records that are updated. If no record is updated check whther your update rules are activated and if not activate it and as well as activate mastr data. Also you need to ensure that you have qm tab as green.

Answer:
..also in Manage look at the Request tab, where you can see which requests have been loaded and which are available in reporting. If any have failed you may have to click on the QM status and manually set it to red then delete the request. If there are aggregates you can then roll up the data to make it available in reporting.

Answer:
What is the QM tab in Manage?

Answer:
Cube -> right mouse -> Manage --> Tab requests
6th column says QM-status.
Also, to be able to query, in the 2nd column, there should be a list or xls like icon. If nothing there, something is not right yet. All previous requests should be loaded correctly. Even if your last load is correct, it will not display that icon if one of the requests before has not finished correctly.

good luck!

For testing, PSA then cube, in production if you want the data in the PSA load in parallel, or direct to the target if not.
