I have two ODS and I am combining into a MultiProvider.
Example:
ODS1
CHAR1 CHAR2 CHAR3 CHAR4 CHAR5 CHAR6
ODS2
CHAR1 CHAR2 CHAR3 CHAR4 CHAR5 _____ CHAR7 CHAR8
I filter my query by say CHAR7 then I see in my Query
Query
CHAR1 CHAR2 ____ CHAR4 CHAR5 CHAR6 CHAR7 _____
What can do that I see all characters?

Search this forum on keyword 'UNION'.
Basically, the result of this query is the result of the union of one query send to ods 1 and one to ods 2; as you restrict those queries by a characteristic only pertaining to ods 2, you will never receive any record from ods 1.
