Hi all,
as described in the upgrade checklist we have to perform the alpha conversion to get consistent master data for the upgrade.
Most of our InfoObjects have collisons, means that we have values
with and without leading zeros, e.g. '1' and '001'.
As we don't have problems with existing collisions we want to
remove the alpha conversion before the upgrade and reuse it after the
upgrade.
Can I reactivate the alpha routine after the upgrade without converting the InfoObject?
Furthermore, why I have to convert the InfoObjects for the new release BW3.0. Are there changes in transfer-, update-rules?
