Hello,
Are there any benefits in checking the "Attribute Only" checkbox in characteristic maintenance transaction?
Everything I read so far describe only what I will lose if I check the item.
I have some real attributes, and I would like to check the box. If that is not going to benefit anyway, I would like to keep my options open for future navigability, etc.

as far as i know, this is indeed only some kind of safety mechanism, that prevents you from using the object in a cube/ods...
