Possibility of having tabs in web reports

Question: Hi,

I have heard that it is possible to have tabs (similar to excel worksheets) in BW web reports. Has anyone else heard of this or know how to do it?

It would be really useful in replicating a workbook with multiple queries on the web.

Thanks,
Allan

Answer:
Yes you can. It is a little bit tedious to perform with WAD but the result is good.
I have implemented it. You can find posts related to this in this forum.
Do not use the How to guide "How to... create an information cockpit", because the result is not good.
Follow instruction of example in SAP Help:
http://help.sap.com/saphelp_bw33/helpdata/en/f1/0a5a2ee09411d2acb90000e829fbfe/frameset.htm

The trick is to play hiding-unhiding elements. You will need to use Javascript, but not too complex functions.

Thanks for the reply SpanishMaster!

I looked on the link and I couldn't quite find what I was looking for. (perhaps I missed it) Where is it exactly?

Thanks again!
Allan

Answer:
To have an example you may want to have a look at 0QUERY_TEMPLATE.
Gives you an idea of how to hide/unhide objects.
Hope it helps

Answer:
Hi again,
In SAP Help for Business Warehouse look for help for Business Explorer.
Then for Web Application Design: BEx Web Application Designer.
You'll see a menu More Complex examples of application.
Inside it you will see a document called Using Several Tab Pages.
