I have always worked with LO Cockpit extractors and don'thave any experience with LIS structures in BW.
Can someone explain how they work or suggest a whitepaper or OSS note that will give me some background. I understand they work similar to LO extractors?

I went ahead and searched for that, along with several variations of that title (using phrase and "and") but I cannot find that document anywhere on Sapnet. Do you have a specific location or link?
