Hi all gurus,
i am just starting BW . i am confusing the diffrence between DATA SOurce and SORCE SYSTEM.
Source System: is developed with in a BW system,so BW knows how to extract data from external system or database.
DATA SOURCE: is assigned to INFO CUBE, where to find the data and what are extract rules??
why we assign a data source to a INFO SOURCE .??
what is the basic function of "DATA SOURCE" in all this cycle.??
without "DATA SOURCE " object what happend???
please clarify me in detail (any fig). if possible good give me some stuff related to BW.
