Any body knows that,If we create a Variable as Selection (not single/interval),can we add another variable for Hier node for the same characteristic?I mean to say can we have 2 variables for a char of Selection option and Hier node var?Pls any body knows tell me.

No, don't think so.
We have got this problem with Customer/customer hierarchy. To solve this, we created a variable on a nav attribute of the customer, containing the customer code.
