Hi Sapguru,
If possible agent for a tast is a 'POSITION' in organizational unit. and suppose there are couple of people holding that position.
When workflow is executed e'body holding that position will get a work item in their inbox.
What if one among them work upon WORKITEM. Obviously after successful execution in normal scenario that workitem will get disappeared from his/her inbox.
I wanted to know what will happen to other work item which are lying in other' inbox. Will they also disappear? What if they also start working on this worktem one after another.

Answer:
If multiple users are holding the same position then the owrk items goes to all of those users. However, the item can only be executed only once so the first person who executes it get that chance. After that system sets item status to complete and therefore it is then removed from the inbox of other people (no one will see the item in his/her's inbox).

Additionally, the item goes to a 'locked' in process status once someone begins working on the item so two cannot work on this at once.
