Could you tell me if there is a possibility to pull data (or push data) from
ODS in one Bw server to ODS in another BW server?
I think this is something similar to remote cubes but am not sure if this is possible at ODS level.

This Is nothing like a remote cube!
You talke about push/pull data to another environment;, which means really transferring data and stroing them in the 2nd environment.
Remote Cubes however mean that you will keep your data in the 1st environment (R3 or another BW like your case) and read the the data there on call without permanentky storing in there...
So, please specify which situation u would like to achieve[/b]

The scenario is that there needs to be reporting done using data in another BW system.
We could use remotecubes but then won't the performance of the query be poor in this case?
My question is rather, if not for remotecubes what other option is available in this scenario, even if it means i have to duplicate the data in both the systems...

You can use your data in BW1 (in ODs or Cube) and send it to BW2 (BW1 is then a DataMart) and acts in principle the same as any other source system (like R3).

If i have to replicate a ODS in BW1 to ODS in BW2, should the ODS in BW2 be transactional ODS?
Since this area is pretty new to me, am not very sure what are the capabilities available in bw for the same...
