I have an infoset with an ODS containing 0employee, time dependent infoobjects 0employee and 0person. When I run a query that has the "valid to" field from 0employee it will not allow me to filter it in the query design. Everything looks correct until I execute the query, then I get the message, "Characteristic Valid to not permitted for selection. However, I can run the query without the restriction and then choose a filter value of >##/##/#### and it will filter the results. Anyone run into something similar? 3.0B.

I am having the same problem only using an ODS that comes from the CRM side.
Have you figured out how to get past it?

Note 583249 explains more about time-dependency in joins and supplies a solution.
What it comes down to is that you should filter on the Time Interval characteristic and not on the Valid To and Valid From chars.
