Hi,
I need to have the system status and user status in my queries for Equipment/Device I Know the data are in the table Jest/JCDS for master data and TJ02T/TJ30T for text.
Jest or JCDS are very big and I have a concern about the performance. I'm asking you an advice for the right way to load the data in BW. In fact, 50% of the data in jest are relative to Equipment and I would'nt load all data

We implemented similar concept in several master data objects such production, maintenance orders, equipment, WBS, Projects, Notifiations etc.,
We have two attributes for each of the above object. One is to store text of system/user status. This is simply used as display attribute. The second attribute is used to store CURRENT status. This is navigational attibutes and used for selection/drill down purpose.
Since master data is loaded everyday, the attributes will change accordingly.
