Question:
I have an append field on VBAP which I have added from the extract pool to the extract structure MC11VA0ITM.
I then go to the datasource and find the append field is by default flagged as hidden and Only Known in Customer Exit. I can see the purpose of the Hidden flag though whether I have the Only Known in Customer Exit flag on or off, the result is the same.
I expected that when I had the flag ticked that the extractor assumes the field is populated only in ZXRSAU01. However, the values in the field on VBAP are passed regardless of whether I have the Only Known in Customer Exit flag on or off. So does anybody know what this field is doing?
I am adding all the fields from the extract pool to our LIS extractors therefore I really need to know the purpose of this field.

have noticed that myself... it's maybe a functionality that hasn't been developed yet

PS just have a look at the second to last Icon in the Query Designer... did you already find out what that one does?
