Dear All,
one typical problem is happening in R/3 system.
we are using standard leave workflow WS20000081 through ESS.
we have an employee code 2334 where sap id BPATEL is assigned in communications infotype 105 subtype 0001.
now when i logon to ESS using BPATEL and try to create a leave request and the press
send button system gives a popup "you are not the one of the posiible agents of the task"
and workflow is not initiated.
same problem is happening for some of the other users whereas for rest of the employees
it's working fine.
now if i goto su01--and rename BPATEL to BHAVESH or E2334,it works.
now it's very strange behaviour as it's not working for BPATEL and without doing anything if i just rename BPATEL to any other name,it works.
could somebody suggest me what could be the cause behind this problem?

I would say with 95% confidence that your workflow (or the tasks within it) is not set up as general task. Goto pftc_chg and enter the wf number and on the workflow template -change screen go to additional data - agent assignment - maintain and put your cursor on the workflow definition and hit attributes button. Now change that to general tasks and save. this is client dependent so even when you transport it from developement to prod system you will still have to do it (there is also a setting top avoid this). Any one with display access can do this.
If this does not resolve it then I would like to know more about it.
