Is it possible in BW3.0B to schedule a job to reset event chain ( RSA1 -> tools -> Event Collector -> Reset Event Chain) ? Actually this can be done in dialog not in background.

I don’t think there is any provision for background schedule for resetting event chain.
Can you please explain, what exactly are you trying to achieve by resetting event chain?
Probably you can also use one dummy event, which you will trigger only when you want using an ABAP program.
This event you include in your event chain. This ABAP program will run in the background and would enable event based on your triggering condition you want.
Only once your dummy event triggers then only your event chain will fire…till that it would be waiting.
