Question:
We have just upgraded our BW system to BW Version 30B with Support Package 19.
Before the upgrade we were able to use the translation tab in RSA1 , then select the query and any associated objects and then select the translate button and start translating into the required language using the editor
Now we are asked for a request no for 'List of Objects for Translation'
We were able to find out what this is got the relevant authorisation to create a 'Piece list' and then this is where I get stuck. After I enter a request..
It seems to ignore my translation selections and takes me into SLWB the translation Planner. I am reading through OSS notes but still can't see what I need to do next.
Should I be going into this if so what is the normal process. Does this mean the translation tab in RSA1 is not used anymore?
Thanks

Answer:
Hi Rhoney,
Went through the same issues. Finally came up with a solution. (No help to SAP though).
Via the translation tab in RSA1, you can prepare your piece list. The piece list though doesn't take into account the objects you have selected. Via SE01, you can modify your piece list to contain only the query elements. Then via SLWB you can create an object list linked to your piece list which you can translate via se63. In SE63 you can get your worklist (only problem being that you can only get the 99 first objects from your piece lists.
Please see
Marketplace as follows:
1. Go to service.sap. com.
2. Choose Solution Details.
3. Expand the Technology Infrastructure and Services node.
4. Choose SAP NetWeaver.
5. Expand the SAP NetWeaver in Detail node.
6. Expand the Application Platform -> SAP Web AS Overview -> Media
Library nodes.
7. Choose Documentation -> SAP Web AS 6.20 (BW) - Generating Worklists in the Translation Planner - Quick Guide in English
Good luck

Thanks for your assitance
Answer:
Hi again,
What we haven't been able though is to transport the translated elements to our productive environment.
We were told by SAP to use the following program RS_LXE_RECORD_TORDER
But now we have the following problem that not all elements are put in the transport request.
Did you have the same problem, or did you do the translations directly on production.
Thanks for the reply.
Rgds,
BVP
Answer:
We have only moved it to test and that went well.
Did Test look okay for you and is it specific to Production that you have issues????
Answer:
Hi Guest,
We only have a 2 system landscape. Dev/QA and Production.
The issue we are having is with transporting in general.
Thanks
BVP
