Delete PSA daat...

Question: Hi,

We are on BW3.0B/AIX/Oracle 9.X.

We would like to delete PSA data. I have found a report RSPSADEL1. Is it really helpfull. How this can be used.
Does all PSA tables start with /BIC/B* ?

Your advice will be greately appreciated.
Thanks.

Answer:
You can go to RSA1 > Modeling tab > PSA. Search the application components for the InfoSource associated with the PSA you want to delete. Right-click and select "Delete PSA Data..."

You can delete data directly there or schedule a job to do it.

Answer:
hey why dont you use a process chain to automate this. in the process chain you can actually choose dates or have a free date, choose what kind of requests you want to delete etc...
and its really simple and easy to create and schedule.

Answer:
Apart from Process chain

Table - RSREQDONE & RSSELDONE
of which RSREQDONE is more intuitive.

Hope it Helps

Hi chetan and all

If I have to use a process chain then I need to list all the transfer structure.

Is there any work around for this...because if tomorrow I start using another infoobject then I will have to modify the process chain again and trasnport it.

Answer:
Hi,

A hint to check what PSAs are the problem (if on Oracle):

In DB02 you have Current Sizes of table spaces.
If you go to PSAPBSEODS you get a list with sizes of objects (=table parts).

In PSA go to top node and make ricght click to Delete. Here you get a list of all PSA Tables with description.

You can compare both lists (first 16 Digits of table part should be table name) to see what PSAs are the problem.
