No Entry Found

Question: In both the Bex Analyzer and the Query Designer we are receiving a message "No Entry Found".
We get this message when we try to open a query. This query has been in BW several months. This message does not appear consistently for just one query. This issue also does not exist every day. I am running Bex Patch Level 11. We have Sap Gui 6.20 with patch 45. Do you know why this message appears?

Steve

Answer:
hi,

just be in infoarea, and do search with the name, then you will get the BEX work book, try with that work book.

......y will be ok

thanks

Hi Manju,

We just upgraded to 3.3 and have started experiencing this same problem and it seems to be random. The query exists and we can run it in RSRT but BEx gives us the message "No Entry Found".

I tried the solution you described but the search results only show me the query and I can't still open it .

I would appreciate if you could elaborate more on this as we have some urgent queries to Fix.

Thanks

Answer:
Hi Steve,

I had faced this problem when I upgraded to 3.5 GUI, it was something to do with patch.

I ran C:\Program Files\SAP\FrontEnd\Bw\sapbexc.xla to get the information of the current SAP GUI on my machine.

The excel file shows OSS Note 675268
SAP GUI 6.20 patch 4 or higher

The note mentioned above pointed to the note number
746073
